Chris Oyakhilome: Biography Of The President of Christ Embassy Church

 Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian pastor, a television host, and an author. He is also the president of the Believers' LoveWorld Inc. and is also known under Christ Embassy International. Chris Oyakhilome Background Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first Oyakhilome's son, having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. After his primary and second education, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where he received an BSc. in Architecture. AAU also conferred him an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children. Chris Oyakhilome Ministry Pastor Chris Oyakhilome entered into ministry when he was in school at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC). Oyakhilome YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is home to millions of associates and followers all over the world. Through its 2002 atmosphere for miracles, BLW was the most well-known Christian television ministry in Africa. The program was canceled in May of 2004, when the president of the time, Nigeria - Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country's president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on television. The foundation celebrates and supports young Africans who have shown leadership qualities through making a difference in their generation. They achieve this through education, youth empowerment, mentoring and mentorship . The foundation recognizes the young leaders by awarding them an award ceremony called The Future Africa Leaders' Award. It is held on the eve of every New Year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, (LCA), Billings Way Oregun, Ikeja. The president of BLW – Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, presents the award to the winners. The InnerCity Mission For Children The InnerCity Mission for children is an faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005 the NGO was created to help the poor homeless, depressed, orphaned and children who are vulnerable . The foundation helps these destitute children and communities through sustainable and participatory interventions which include child development programs, childcare programmes and family strengthening programs, InnerCity Mission for Children School and more. Trauma Care International Foundation The Trauma Care International Foundation was created in order to enhance the health status and life expectancy of communities and countries by encouraging enhanced emergency response capabilities for accidents and emergencies. The foundation is able to accomplish this feat by supporting the national policies relating to trauma and health education. Over a thousand were given first aid as well as emergency response instruction through the foundation. Chris Oyakhilome Biography They have trained thousands of teachers, law enforcement officers and caregivers as well road transporters. Volunteer Medical Corps The Volunteer Medical Corps provides humanitarian aid to refugees as well as internally displaced peoples in countries that are affected or are in danger of being devastated by natural or human-made disasters. The network is made up of paramedics, christian health workers, and students from all over the world. The volunteers provide medical treatment as well as emergency assistance and long-term health care solutions for communities and regions in need. VMC also offers health care services for underserved communities as well as manpower development for health professionals in the local area. Bible For All Nation Bible For All Mission (BFAM), a christian non-profit organization is committed to establishing, producing, and global distribution the bible to all people of all ages and gender in the format and in the language they comprehend. The mission is to help people understand God's Word, and his life-changing message. BFAM provided many thousands of Rhapsody Bibles to people and communities, prisons, government and private institutions around the world. This includes the Philippines, Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria.
